The John F. Kennedy Council 2952 of the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1946 on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. It is part of the International Knights of Columbus Organization founded on March 29, 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney at St. Mary's parish in New Haven, CT.

Tickets for the 17th Annual Benefit Raffle and Steak Dinner are available. The event will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM at the KC Hall.
Tickets are $100.00 ane entitles the holder to two steak dinners and a chance to win one of four prizes: two $5,000.00 prizes and two $500.00 prizes. All proceeds go to "TARC", "Options", "Family and Frends Association of Evergreen North Lake Services" and "Special Olympics of Louisiana".

The Council Home is located in the City of Hammond, Louisiana. It is on the cornor of University Blvd. & Oak Street.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practical Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who shall not be less than 18 years of age on their last birthday. A practical Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the Precepts of the Church.
