The John F. Kennedy Council 2952 of the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1946 on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. It is part of the International Knights of Columbus Organization founded on March 29, 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney at St. Mary's parish in New Haven, CT.

Tickets for the 16th Annual $10,000.00 Benefit Raffle and Steak Dinner to benefit the mentally challenged Citizens in our Community are now on sale. Tickets are $100.00 each and entitles the holder to a chance to win one of four prizes: two $5,000.00 grand prizes and two $500.00 prizes. In addition the holder receives steak dinners for two, served at the council home on Saturday, October 4, 2014, as well as door prizes and a silent auction at the dinner. The Council Home is located in the City of Hammond, Louisiana. It is on the cornor of University Blvd. & Oak Street.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practical Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who shall not be less than 18 years of age on their last birthday. A practical Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the Precepts of the Church.
